Leave details
Leave is accrued at the rate of 3.5 calendar days per month totaling to 42 calendar days per year including travel time. Single Status - Two interim leaves per year consisting of 12 calendar days including travel. - One home leave consisting of 18 calendar days including travel. - Air tickets provided for employee and eligible dependents. Married Status - one interim leave per year of 12 calendar days including travel. No air tickets provided. - One home leave consisting of 30 calendar days including travel.Air tickets provided for employee and eligible dependents.
Leave tickets
Provided -Least cost economy class round trip excursion, air ticket via most direct route from point of origin to Kuwait. Cash – in – lieu of airfare may be given, based on current market rate. • Accompanied excess baggage allowance of 20Kg or 1 extra piece (as applicable) will be provided for employee and each eligible dependent for expatriation and repatriation trips. • Travel allowance of 10% of the applicable airfare will be provided for employee and each eligible dependent.

Education assistance:
School tuition and transportation provided for two children of age (5 to 18 years) residing in Kuwait.
Processing:
In addition to the above, OSSC will be responsible for processing all the paper works in order to legalize the employees and families stay in Kuwait.
Note for married status employees:
Authorized dependents will be relocated to Kuwait only after the completion of the employee’s probationary period of 42 days and also upon the completion of residence permit formalities.
• Planning, supervision and parametrization of new seismic data acquisition and processing program
• Seismic data interpretation using recent geological/geophysical methods and suggesting further exploration program.
• Coordinating site survey and shallow seismic.
• Initiation of new geophysical projects and studies. Responsible for scope of work, contract preparation, tender evaluation and project management work for seismic campaigns, processing and interpretation.
• Provide technical support in formulating short and long term operating plan/budgets and in house studies.
Requirements:
• Minimum degree: MS in Geophysics, or equivalent degree in Geology Physics or Petroleum Engineering.
• 12+ years of industry experience on geophysical works.
• Extensive understanding of –science principles, resource estimation and classification.
• Functional understanding of geology, geophysics, petro-physics, and reservoir characterization issues and how they relate to reservoir performance and development planning.
• Experience on data management of surface seismic borehole seismic gravity-magnetic and other geophysical data.
• Experience on geophysical operations, ability to facilitate and coordinate complete, accurate and timely data management solutions for seismic data including pre-stack and post- stack data, VSP, near surface and static data, time-to-depth conversion, velocity, depthing and other geophysical data.
• Sound experience on 2D/3D seismic interpretation, velocity modeling attribute analysis, AVO analysis and seismic inversion.
• Keep abreast of geophysical technologies, and assist documentation of seismic data management requirements, to take advantage of new techniques and innovations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, particularly for technical presentation and external interactions.
• Provide consulting, training and mentoring to junior staff.
• Software skills: Must have commendable experience on at least one geophysical interpretation software (Landmark/Geoframe).Experience on petrel will be an advantage
